This piece is one of the first attempts to portray how meditation feels using soft pastels as a medium. This medium never ceases to fascinate me. Meditation often feels like diving into the depths of the roaring ocean, leaving the familiar behind and opening to the unknown. And as I am free diving deeper and deeper, I am gently guided past the swirling layers of conditionings, past the false beliefs and stories I’ve been telling myself over and over again, past everything that I thought made up who I am… and straight to the truth of the Self that is always there waiting to be discovered, like a golden treasure hiding in the ocean’s depth.
