A diary entry where I replace words with colors and intuitive movements. Every painting in this collection reflects a fixed moment of time, a collision of inner and outer worlds, influenced by a feeling. It’s a never-ending attempt to define the inner landscape. This particular painting was created with the watercolors I made myself using the pigments I bought during my travels in Japan. It has a beautiful, slightly textured surface. I love the way pigments reflect the light, how they granulate and settle on the textured watercolor rug.
